Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 1, 2026  |  Last Updated: April 21, 2026

Article 1 (Agreement to Terms)

By accessing or using EzraVideo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("the Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue using the Service.

Article 2 (Services Provided)

The Service provides a tool to convert PowerPoint (.pptx) files into MP4 videos with AI-generated narration. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis without any warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.

Article 3 (Accounts and Registration)

In order to use certain features, account creation via Google OAuth or similar methods is required. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

Article 4 (Free and Paid Plans)

In the Free Plan, users are granted a lifetime limit of 5 conversions and a total output time of 30 minutes. This is a cumulative limit and does not reset.

If you subscribe to a Paid Plan, the limits and fees specified will apply. Monthly fees are billed in advance. Unless you cancel your subscription, your Paid Plan will automatically renew.

ImportantArticle 5 (Price Revisions and Notifications)

1. The Operator reserves the right to revise the pricing plans and monthly subscription fees of the Service due to fluctuations in exchange rates, economic changes, or the addition of new features.

2. When a price revision (increase) is applied to existing Paid Plan subscribers, the Operator will provide prior notice at least 30 days before the revision takes effect, either by sending an email to the registered address or by posting a notice on the website.

3. If a user continues to use the Service without canceling their subscription by the effective date of the new pricing following the aforementioned notice, the user shall be deemed to have agreed to the revised pricing. The Operator may, at its sole discretion, offer special provisions (such as maintaining the old pricing) for existing paid users.

Article 6 (User Content and Confidentiality)

All intellectual property rights and copyrights of the files uploaded by the user ("User Content") belong entirely to the user. The user grants the Operator temporary permission to use the data exclusively for the purpose of video generation processing.

The Operator shall maintain the confidentiality of the User Content and will not store the files on its servers beyond the time required for the video generation process.

Article 7 (Disclaimer for AI Generated Content)

The narration scripts and videos are generated by third-party AI models. While the Operator strives to improve quality, the nature of AI means there may be mispronunciations of specialized terms or unexpected outputs. The user is solely responsible for checking the final content before using or distributing the generated video in their actual business operations.

Article 8 (Prohibited Conduct)

Users must not engage in any of the following activities:

  • Uploading material that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or infringes upon a third party's intellectual property rights.
  • Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the Service.
  • Using automated tools to impose an unreasonable load on the servers.
  • Reselling or providing the features of the Service as a separate service without prior written consent.

Article 9 (Modification of Terms)

The Operator reserves the right to modify these Terms (excluding the provisions regarding price revisions in Article 5) at any time. Important changes will be announced within the Service or sent via email. Continued use of the Service after changes are made implies your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Article 10 (Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability)

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profits or business interruption) arising out of or in connection with the user's use of the Service.

Even if the Operator is found liable for damages, the total liability shall be limited to the actual amount paid by the user to the Service during the 12 months immediately preceding the occurrence of the damage (for free users, liability is fully disclaimed).

Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over any disputes relating to the Service.
